CHARNWOOD AND DENNIS NIXON OPEN EVENTS (March 08, 2007)
This will be the last year that the Charnwood Water and Dennis Nixon Open Events for IOM and RM respectively will be held during the summer season.For various reasons the club will planning to hold the events during the winter as of this year.So this means the end of the winter series for IOM and RM as of now.
Also from now the club will be using the same scoring system as the MYA uses for their Ranking Events.This take in account finishing position and not score,hopefully awarding regular attendance better than the old system.Also the sailor must attend the finals to have their result counted.
