Charnwood and Dennis Nixon results (March 30, 2008)
Congratulations to Tony Edwards for winning the Charnwood Water IOM Winter Series 2007/2008. Coming first in 4 out of 5 races ensured he would have won the trophy with a maximum score. The other placings were closely fought for in this well attended series.
Also congratulations to Mike Weeks for winning the Dennis Nixon RM winter series, pipping Mick Shillington by only 5.6 points to top spot. There was also some close finishes behind the top two.
Greater attendance was evident in both series, especially the RM series. So moving both series to the winter season seems to have been a success.
